Youth Ministry
At First Presbyterian Church, we offer weekly fellowship opportunities for children of all ages from the third week in September through Memorial Day.
Elementary Fellowship – Contact Janet Dobson, 563-1887
Children in grades K - 6 gather at our church each Wednesday from 5:00 – 5:45 pm to study Bible stories, do service projects (such as packing food donated to food banks or baking cookies for home-bound people) and other age-appropriate activities. A light dinner is provided for the children during the last fifteen minutes of each weekly session.
NOTE: The Chapel Choir for children in grades K-6 practices each Wednesday immediately following Elementary Fellowship, from 5:45 – 6:30 pm. All children are invited to extend their fellowship time by joining in the choir rehearsals.

Every year the children of our church present a Christmas pageant at one of our Christmas Eve services. Here’s our 2009 group!
Youth Group – Contact Will Cosnett, 586-6306
Our church’s Youth Group, for young people in grades 7 through 12, meets Sunday evenings from 6:15 – 8:15 pm. All youth are welcome, whether they are members of the church or visitors, and this invitation includes participating in regular meetings as well as any special events or trips. From pure fun to fundraising activities to youth mission projects, the purpose of this group is to provide fellowship and to enable our young people to “live the lessons” they learn at church and in Sunday School.
